About Education Board
There are nine Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education are
responsible for conducting the public examinations such as Secondary
School Certificate and Higher Secondary Certificate level public
examinations. The Boards are also responsible for the recognition of the
private sector educational institute.
Welcome to Education Board Computer Center which is
the sister concern of eight education boards- Dhaka, Rajshahi, Comilla,
Jessore, Chittagong, Barisal, Sylhet and Madrasah. Here all these
autonomous bodies are functioning under a same platform, example of
which is the simultaneous result publication. Chairman of Dhaka Board
governs functionalities of it as an additional appointment and System
Analysts are in charge of different boards. All the boards are combined
here for security purpose and to facilitate simultaneous jobs of result
processing, to exchange ideas, views and technologies directly. It acts
as a bridge among the boards.
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, an autonomous
organization, mainly responsible for holding two public examinations
(SSC & HSS) and for providing recognition to the newly established
non-govt. educational institutions and also for the supervision, control
and developments of those institutions.
